Ca Na Sopeta Agricultural Warehouse – Agricultural tradition in Vilafranca de Bonany since 1959

Ca Na Sopeta was founded in 1959 by a humble peasant family. My grandparents (Sebastià and Francisca) grew farm produce, primarily garlic and melons, and sold it to third parties. One day, a buyer said he didn't need the produce because there was too much at the market, so my grandparents decided to put it on the street (at that time, the main road ran through the town) and began selling directly to the public on their own. From that day on, with the success of direct sales, Ca Na Sopeta became a business, and little by little, the business and the family grew. In 1984, Margalida (my mother) joined the company, and together with my father (Sebastià), they continued running the store.

A story of effort and local roots

In 2009, there was a major change. The business moved to the neighboring house to expand its space and add the sale of grain, animal feed, and fertilizers. It was renamed Magatzem Agrícola Ca Na Sopeta, and I (Sebastià) joined the company. In 2025, after another change to the same location, we obtained the license to produce and sell cured meats (sobrassada and fuet) directly. And we have returned to our original name, Ca Na Sopeta. We continue to artisanally produce all our farm products and cured meats, with the same quality and enthusiasm as the first day, continuing with melons and garlic as our flagship products.

From the field to the consumer, with honesty and closeness

At Ca Na Sopeta, we cultivate our own land to produce fresh vegetables, seasonal melons, and a wide range of agricultural products. We also have our own livestock farm, which allows us to produce artisanal cured meats such as sobrasada and fuet, following traditional methods and with guaranteed traceability.

We are also official distributors of Nanta and Arion feed, and we offer grain and agricultural supplies to professionals and individuals from our warehouse.

Our goal is clear: to offer honest, friendly, and high-quality products, born from daily effort and a love of the countryside. We continue to focus on direct contact, personalized service, and respect for nature.
